End of life for Passly

Overview

Kaseya has made the decision to retire the Identity & Access Management suite known as Passly (formerly AuthAnvil).

Key dates

  • End of access and use: December 31, 2025

  • Disable agents and integrations: All agents and integrations associated with Passly should be disabled before December 31, 2025.

  • Migration deadline: It is recommended to migrate users and endpoints by November 30, 2025, to prevent downtime and security lapses.

Migration assistance

Kaseya will assist customers as they migrate to new solutions compatible with the Kaseya IT Complete stack.

Reasons for retirement

When Passly was launched, there were very few 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) and SSO (Single Sign-On) products available, and none that integrated well with common MSP tools. While Passly achieved its goal of providing an affordable security solution, the market has since evolved with a variety of free alternatives. Kaseya believes it is time to transition support to these new solutions.

Kaseya will continue to support Passly until December 31, 2025.

Data migration

If you are transitioning to another solution, refer to the following guidelines:

  • Auth Manager: No data to download for Agents or Logs.

  • Directory Manager: No data to download for Agents, Users, Groups, or settings.

  • SSO Manager: No data to download for SAML Apps.

  • Password Manager: Passly supports clear text exports for Export Managers or Administrator role members. More information can be found here.

Subscription renewals

Kaseya will process subscription renewals until December 31, 2025. No renewals will occur past this date.

Adding users

Kaseya will continue to support increases to your seat count until December 31, 2025. To add additional seats, please contact your Account Manager for a quote.

NOTE  The subscription end date cannot be extended beyond December 31, 2025.
