End of life for Passly

Overview

Passly (formerly AuthAnvil) was Kaseya's Identity & Access Management (IAM) solution. Kaseya retired Passly on December 31, 2025, making the product unavailable for further use and support after that date.

Retirement timeline

  • November 30, 2025: Customers were advised to migrate users and endpoints to alternative solutions by this date to help avoid service disruptions.

  • December 31, 2025: Access to, use of, and support for Passly ended.

  • December 31, 2025: Subscription renewals and seat count increases were no longer available after this date.

Reasons for retirement

When Passly was introduced, few two-factor authentication (2FA) and single sign-on (SSO) solutions were available that integrated effectively with managed service provider (MSP) tools. Over time, the identity management market evolved significantly, and a broader range of alternatives became available. As a result, Kaseya retired Passly and focused on supporting modern identity and access management solutions.

Support status

Support for Passly ended on December 31, 2025. Passly is no longer supported, and new subscriptions, renewals, and seat increases are no longer available.

Data migration information

Prior to retirement, customers could export data from certain Passly components and migrate to alternative solutions. Historical migration information is retained below for reference purposes only.

  • Auth Manager: No agent or log export was available.

  • Directory Manager: No export was available for agents, users, groups, or settings.

  • SSO Manager: No export was available for SAML applications.

  • Password Manager: Supported clear-text exports for users with the Export Manager or Administrator role.
