November 20, 2025 Dark Web ID v2.77.00 release notes
Enhancements
We have implemented new masking rules for compromised passwords. Password masking has been standardized across all areas of the product. If a password is compromised (for domains, email, or IP addresses), it will be displayed as follows:
-
The first four characters will remain visible.
-
All remaining characters will be replaced with asterisks (*), while preserving the original length of the password.
-
If the password is longer than 14 characters, an ellipsis (...) will be added at the end to indicate that it has been truncated.
Fixes
A bug fix has been introduced to ensure the accurate display of the most recent release date. Previously, the current endpoint did not return the correct date, leading to discrepancies. This issue has now been resolved, and the most recent release date will be accurately reflected within our system.
