January 30, 2026 Dark Web ID v2.81.00 release notes
Enhancements
This release delivers enhancements to IP address monitoring, PSA integration controls, onboarding consistency, and overall performance and usability.
-
IP address monitoring moved to the enhanced compromise engine: IP address monitoring is now processed through the enhanced compromise detection engine, improving visibility into IP‑based dark web exposure. This transition may surface additional findings due to broader detection, while maintaining customer control over how IP‑related alerts are handled in ticketing or PSA systems. For more information, see Understanding the Dark Web ID compromise engine upgrade: IP address monitoring.
-
New optional PSA integration setting for IP‑based compromises: A new optional setting has been introduced in the edit PSA integration page under Ticket Conditions. The checkbox labeled Enable processing of IP address–related compromises to PSA integration allows you to send IP address–related compromises to your PSA tool.
-
Disabled by default: Both ticket conditions are disabled by default. In this state, only email and domain compromises (with or without passwords) are sent to the PSA; IP address-related compromises are excluded
-
When enabled: IP address–related compromises are also created as PSA tickets
This setting is applied per integration and does not change existing behavior unless you explicitly enable it.
-
-
Standardized activation link expiration: Activation links for new Dark Web ID accounts now consistently expire after 7 days, ensuring a more predictable onboarding experience.
-
Users created under a newly provisioned organization receive welcome emails with activation links valid for 7 days
-
Expired links display clear guidance for requesting a new link
-
-
Improved performance for monitored domains: The Managed Monitored Values > Domains page has been updated to improve performance, responsiveness, and scalability, with no change to existing functionality.
Highlights include:
-
Faster domain loading and updates
-
Pagination for large domain lists
-
Existing add, delete, and list actions continue to work as before
-
Domain changes continue to appear in Recent Activity
