Autotask Error: TICKET CREATION FAILED: DATA VIOLATION: QUEUEID IS REQUIRED

If you experience the TICKET CREATION FAILED: DATA VIOLATION: QUEUEID IS REQUIRED error, the Autotask Ticket Queue field is missing.

To add this field, follow these steps:

  • Click Integrations in the left panel.

  • Make sure the PSA tab is selected.

  • Click the edit icon in the Autotask Integration row.

  • In the Field Mappings section, click + Add Field Mapping (the new field will appear at the bottom).

  • In the Autotask Field drop-down menu, scroll down and select Ticket Department Name or Ticket Queue Name (integer).

  • In the Content drop-down menu, select the Autotask queue on which the tickets will appear.

  • Click Save to save your configuration or Save and Submit a Test Compromise to save your configuration and send a test ticket.
