May 13, 2025 Dark Web ID v2.66.00 release notes
Enhancements
This release introduces the following enhancements:
-
We’ve addressed a security issue where the Supply Chain APIs were unintentionally exposing passwords and personally identifiable information (PII). This data was never intended to be accessible via the API. To enhance product security and align with our data protection standards, this access has now been removed. The API has been updated accordingly, and the documentation has been revised to reflect these changes. You can view the updated API documentation by logging in with an API-enabled user at https://secure.darkwebid.com/api .
-
We have implemented changes to improve the security of WalkMe.
-
A Help link has been added to the 2FA page, guiding users on how to reset 2FA with their partner administrator.
-
A security enhancement has been applied to the welcome link concerning its expiration.
Fixes
This release includes the following bug fixes:
-
There was an issue on the Partner Users page where sorting users by any column resulted in a 500 error. This problem has been resolved, and the functionality now works as intended.
-
There was a problem on the automation report setup page where entering a recipient email address with a top-level domain longer than six characters would trigger a server error. This issue has now been resolved, and the system can now accept email addresses with domains up to 62 characters long.
